Welcome to the Grapevine Guesthouse

This traditional brick home, circa 1850, was built by Joseph Kessler, who, according to an 1860 business directory, was a pump maker, cabinet maker, and furniture dealer. Later in his career, Kessler became a justice of the peace — perhaps the guesthouse parlor served as a venue for marriage ceremonies long before Hermann became the popular wedding destination it is today!
